Most frequently the cause is benign and/or self-limited, but more serious causes may require urgent intervention. From Wikipedia under the

I spent most my time until my mid 20s getting sick to my stomach at least once a week. I'm 32 now and I've been sick once in the last 2 years. What changed? I stopped eating out. Sure, I still get a meal out occasionally, but it's a once or twice a month thing. I learned how to cook and I eat light, but frequently. You have to really pay attention to what you eat and figure out what works well with your body. Sometimes this means cutting out foods you like a lot. I've had pizza maybe twice in the last three years and when I do it's only a piece or two. If I feel like I'm at the point that my stomach could go either way, I go to certain foods. Stop consuming: dairy, and refined sugars (corn syrup & white sugar) You may be intolerant to gluten from grains, ask your doctor and get such a test. Drink ginger tea. It's one of my favorites, and (in my opinion) the most medicinal plant out there. If you don't want to chop and dehydrate your own, I recommend the Yogi Tea brand. You can find it in the natural food section in your grocery store. Chamomile also helps. Answered by MetaJoe - Fri Jan 18 00:06:31 2008 From Yahoo Answer Search: "Stomach aches" |
